DC Prompters was founded by owner Matt Burton in 2007. Matt Burton received his BA degree in English and French from Catawba College in 1991. After teaching high school English and Journalism for nearly ten years in Maryland Public Schools, he left the classroom to start his own teleprompter business. Since then, he has worked with every United States President and First Lady since Ronald and Nancy Reagan. Company clients include Fox Television, ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Harpo Productions, REELZ, AARP, Lenovo Computers, and many other producers of television, film, and live events.
